It sells its products to wholesalers, distributors, government agencies, health care facilities, specialty pharmacies, and independent retailers from its distribution centers and public warehouses. It has a strategic collaboration with Infinity Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; and a research and development collaboration with California Life Sciences LLC. AbbVie Inc. was incorporated in 2012 and is based in North Chicago, Illinois. As of January 01, 2013, AbbVie Inc. operates independently of Abbott Laboratories.
