Specializing in PCCP pipelines, Pipeline Technologies Inc was focused to developing technology for the water pipeline industry. In December 2001 was acquired by Canadian base Pressure Pipe Inspection Co. a leader in water pipe assessment using electromagnetic waves detect and quantify damaged sections of pipe, making it possible to avoid ruptures and unnecessary repairs. Pipeline Technologies had pioneered the use of acoustic monitoring to assess the condition of water pipes. Will Worthington, Pipeline's president became vice president, business development for Mexico and South America. His colleague Loren Worthington became controller and administrative manager of U.S. Operations.
