Phase I

Contract Number: ----------
Start Date: ----    Completed: ----
Phase I year
2011
Phase I Amount
$99,977
Nuvotronics has created a unique metal micromachining process, PolyStrataTM, used to create suspended recta-coax lines, high performance MMIC sockets, and millimeter-wave (MMW) interconnection circuits with low loss, small size/high density, and durability. Nuvotronics is proposing to develop high power, high efficiency K-band power amplifiers for future Miltary Satellitte Communication Systems. During this Phase I project, the main goal will be to design and layout the 80 Watt K-band amplifier and demonstrate high efficient operation through simulations and measured experimental data.

Benefit:
Military and commercial satellite communications systems.
