Public Profile

Image Matters LLC is a software technology and professional services company that produces software products, develops advanced technology solutions, and provides consulting services to commercial, non-profit and government clients. Image Matters specializes in GeoSocial Mobile Web, Semantic Web (Web 3.0), Web 2.0, Sensor Web, Cloud-based SaaS/PaaS platforms, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Web services, and Location-Based Services (LBS). Image Matters also offers a complement of professional services to apply these technologies in support of user communities ranging from Digital Globe and National Geographic to US Army. Its primary vertical markets are commercial, defense, intelligence, homeland security, environmental, and natural resource management. Image Matters also serves the horizontal market for GeoSocial Mobile Web and Semantic Web infrastructure. Image Matters has three lines of business: software products, government systems and consulting services. The main software product, userSmarts(tm), is being built for the next generation of the Internet. This product targets the near future Web services market, where consumer, business and government users will get served over the Internet with just the right information they need, no matter where they are located and what device and network they happen to be using, including cell phones, PDAs, notebooks, desktop computers, telephones, car navigation systems and TVs. In 2002, Image Matters decided to expand into government systems and related services. The initial focus market is defense and intelligence, concentrating on opportunities that closely relate other core business areas and company strengths. Specifically, Image Matters is concentrating on developing next generation intelligence capabilities, focusing on the MILGIS Program, initiated by Image Matters, and other related R&D programs. Image MattersÂ’ consulting services closely complement its software and government business. Most of its clients are high tech businesses, like OGC, ESRI, Oracle, Sun Microsystems, Lockheed Martin, and others. Consulting services are offered in the areas of Information Technology Engineering, Marketing Communications and Strategic Business Development.
