Founded by a Yale Professor of Psychiatry, CBT4CBT (Computer-Based Training for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), formerly operating as Applied Behavioral Research (ABR), is an organization committed to the development of effective methods for dissemination of empirically validated treatments for substance abuse. ABR develops comprehensive computer-based training programs and provides training in the methods and techniques of specific cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) clinical approaches for the treatment of substance abuse to practitioners and researchers across the country.
