Founded in 1665, Compagnie de Saint-Gobain, headquartered in Courbevoie, France, the firm is arguably the longest established large firm to have SBIR collaboration interest. With almost 190,000 employees world wide, Saint-Gobain is the largest building materials company, having also a major global presence in the production of high-performance materials and glass containers. Saint-Gobain North America, headquartered in Valley Forge, PA employs some 19,000 people in more than 265 locations across the U.S. and Canada.
