State SBIR-STTR Support Services

Most states have established various forms of SBIR-STTR support capabilities to enable qualified small firms in their region to be effectively program-involved.  With the emphasis primarily on the application process, there clearly is a direct correlation between the extent and form of achievement and the availability of quality support locally.

However, an increasing number of the states clearly understand that full SBIR impact is a factor of the extent to which the small firms involved get what they are about to use-condition – commercialization.  To that end, some of these state organizations have enhanced their program efforts to include this type of support of their awardees. Many of them have been turning to us for comprehensive data on their awardees and access into things like the ASSET system to provide exposure by their firms to the type of Tech Seekers with whom we work.
