This was seriously well done and very useful There was a solid, well designed support program wheer I have to tell you we also learned a lot - a real plus. All th presenters were firm sin SBIR and a lot of them were - as we expected - far too ready to talk about their technology than about the business opportunity. But we flagged at least a half-dozen firms that we plan to talk to some more. The organizers need to tell more of the firms how to focus their presentation time - too many used all their time to talk and din't leave time for much else. But we liked the "Nutshell" idea. It worked well and the selection porcess had obviosuly been pretty good. Bottom line: th next time they do this, we'll be there again. Well worth the time. We didn't know what to expect from this since we were told it was the first time these people had done this. I've been to several of these things - and paid a lot more money for it - where we learned nothing and didn't make any useful contacts. Obviously, the contacts are why we went but at this event I woudl agree, we also learned alot. This was really useful mix of information, new ideas and useful tools -- and we also made some very useful contacts. As always on these occasions, several of the VCs who were registered didn't show.
