"All Politics is Local:" This famous quote from Tip O'Neil, long-time Speaker of the House of Representatives and Member from Massachusetts, speaks volumes to what drives much of the interests of Members of Congress and the decision they make.
- How are things working in my District?
- How will what is being proposed affect my constituents?
- What do they think about this?
Giving the story local relevance: The massive SBIR-STTR databases which we maintain on- and offline allow us to undertake quite detailed analysis of what is going on in a particular State. As support to - scheduled sessions with Members or oter types of communication with their offices
- and/or for integration into published articles in your local press etc,
we are receptive to providing some appropriate level of SBIR analysis to give it that local interest.
Caveat:The extent of this data must be limited - we are a very small firm with limited staff capability - and there must be acknowledgment of source in any printed/writtten materials. However, it has been our experience that telling the local story can make a huge difference to the likelihood that people will read/listen ... and to the impact the price can have.
On this page is Screen Capture of the Lead Page on our regular site for each of the States. This provides an on-the-fly Working Analysis of the Exent and Form of SBIR Participation in that State. Perhaps fittingly int his case, we have opted to use State of Missouri. To see actual page, simply double click on that picture.
From that page for any/every state a Registered Site User (no-cost or paying subscriber) can access into a range of search functions to examine in more detail the activity in that State by company, year, agency etc. If you're interested in looking more at Missouri (or, for that matter, at any other State), let us please encourage you to Site Register.
