Phase 3 Business Matters
This invited convening of SBIR experienced players and other interested parties is specifically
  • NOT about how to get SBIR funding and support
  • NOR even, except in passing, about effective use of SBIR resources to move a participating firm towards its business objectives.
  • I have an SBIR Question

  • Read-only without Site Registration
  • FULL participation requires Site Registration - either NO-cost OR as a Full Subscriber
  • SBIR Reauthorization: Two-Cents Site

  • 1992 SBIR Reauthorization legislation
  • and explanatory Management Report
  • Tibbetts Awards 1996-1998
Tibbetts are awarded annually to SBIR Awardees, organizations and individuals in recognition of their contribution to effective functioning of the federal SBIR Program. This area provides the listing and profile of Tibbetts Alumni over the three year period of 1996-98.

The Special Projects area of this site is set up to allow newcomers to get a flavor for what we do but primarily to enable conduct and support of events and issue sessions that are in various ways are "bounded". These efforts are
of SBIR Community general interest e.g. the very popular I have an SBIR Question
    and/or are time-sensitive.
Recently, for example, in a rapidly contructed, special area, this site has been where most of the DOD-active SBIR Community got involved and/or kept current on matters related to resolution of the DOD 2003.1 SBIR Solicitation impasse..
There can be little doubt that what happened here was a major factor in achieving timely resolution to that seriously sticky problem. For those of you not affected by the DOD issue, thank you for your patience and support.

    Twenty Years of SBIR Achievement
The re-opening of the DOD SBIR 2003.1 solicitation allows us to get back to our current Special Project. This is the publication of the first-of-its-kind 20th Anniversary SBIR-STTR Awardees Directory.
The time out to address the DOD problem does mean that we must delay publication of the Directory from this Spring to later in the year. All other elements of the project will remain as planned.
May we suggest that you download a copy of the one-sheet description of that very interesting project and bookmark this site for the more detailed consideration of related matters which we plan to get to in the next few days?
