To permit appropriate organization, effective access to, and use of information specific to each SBIR-STTR source, separate sections -- called here Agency Brass Plate Areas-- are maintained on this site for each participating Agency by site personnel .
Note carefully that, unless specified particularly, all materials, statements and analysis in these Offices are NOT those of the agency involved - IMPORTANT Disclaimer

Each of these areas provide ready access to:

  • Searchable Abstracts of all SBIR-STTR funded projects (1983 to the most recent awarded) in that agency
  • ...along with the usual Contact Information, email access, and Web connections to that agency's SBIR-STTR Home Page

Important Disclaimer:
All the Federal Agency SBIR Office areas offered on this site are established and maintained by Innovation Development Institute personnel. A significant percentage of the information on each page is edited from that provided by, and accessed from, the SBIR participating agencies. Further, active participation by agency personnel on the site - in their 'own' office here and elsewhere is encouraged and is an important part of the importance of this site.

However, through the years the management of the Innovation Development Institute has functioned extensively as a lead advocate for the SBIR-STTR programs. Sometimes that has involved challenging the 'official' position of an agency on particular issues. Further, it has been our judgement that effective SBIR participation by qualified small firms sometimes needs an 'outsider's' analysis of what is going on in an agency. Hence, users of this site should note carefully that ALL FORMS of presentation, analysis, information and content on the In-Know-Vation Online site are entirely the responsibility of the Innovation Development Institute and should not be interpreted in any way as constituting agency-approved data.
